For some Doctor Who fans, Matt Smith is the only Doctor they’ve ever known, so the arrival of Peter Capaldi has some mourning the loss.

Tom Baker was my first Doctor, and except for the sixth – Colin Baker – I’ve liked them all.
I enjoyed the farewell until the deus ex machina to allow more regenerations.
