Overhyped. The visuals are stunning and at the beginning I marveled at how they ‘got the science right’ as physics laws seemed to be respected even as it depicted the immensely complicated collision and resulting breakup of the space station. But then at THE pivotal scene in the movie they threw physics out the window and my jaw dropped. Then they just started piling up one happy coincidence after another and finally threw probability and statistics out the window for good measure.
