Somewhat related is the continuing feud between Scalzi and “Vox Day”. The latest salvo is incredulous: http://io9.gizmodo.com/amazon-pulls-castalia-house-book-for-ripping-off-john-s-1793533638
Both are amazing self-promoters, but at least Scalzi’s books are enjoyable, although I must admit I’ve never read a single word of Beale’s apart from his diatribes so maybe I need to read something of his to see if I’m actually missing anything. Before that, I’ll try reading some of the 500 or so unread books that are already on my shelves. Maybe I’ll get to him in my next life.
