Yet another Philip K. Dick story is set to become a movie

I read this news tidbit that Jessica Biel has been signed to star in a new science fiction movie called Next. The more interesting item in the story was that the movie is based on Philip K. Dick's short story The Golden Man.

It appears that if you want to have a science fiction movie made in Hollywood these days, you'll get the green light if you adapt a PKD story.

Another science fiction movie in development is Planet One. It's a cartoon about how the residents of a planet who are spooked by visiting aliens who happen to be 50s-era astronauts. The script will be written by the fellow who wrote Shrek.
