The book was actually interesting and entertaining, but since the movie has nothing to do with the book in terms of storyline I have no plan to see the movie (like many others who have read the book, I suspect)… maybe I’ll see it on DVD some later date.

I really hated the book. What I disliked most about it was it was supposed to be an oral history told by different survivors of the zombie war, yet every single character’s voice sounded identical when I read it, whether it be a commando or a grandmother. Ugh.
Don’t get me started about the stupid concept that the zombies crossed oceans by walking across the ocean floor to move from continent to continent. Even the undead would have problems with the crushing pressures that exist at the bottom of the ocean. Just stupid.
Robopocalypse was essentially the same book, but substituting intelligent robots for zombies. It was slightly more readable, but Steven Spielberg, probably wisely, abandoned his movie adaptation.
