Repeat after me, Star Wars is not real
If you saw the JediGym video online someplace and thought it was a joke, you would be right, but it's not too far from the truth. There really is a group called New York Jedi that offers martial-arts workouts to its members. What I'd really like to see is a Klingon workout. Now that would pump you up in no time!
That brings up the question of what if Star Wars was real? This website offers some photographic evidence that might make you think it really might have been.
There's also a French photographer who's snapping photos of people in Star Wars costumes as they walk about in urban settings. I guess it's art, but I'd be quicker to label this epic painting of Darth Vader leading stormtroopers into battle as art.
Why this common urge to bring Star Wars into the real world?

Yes, we're real.
Hey there, Capt. Xerox!
I found your posting, regarding JediGym, and had to reply.
That video was Frackin awesome! I haven't laughed that hard in a while.... hehehhehe.
But yes, we give lessons in Light Saber Stage Combat, and allow you to create whatever character you want, and get to perform for people on stage and at parties. AND it gets people off their keesters and get some real excersise learning realistic laser sword techniques! It's really good fun, tho.
Thanks for posting about us!

Is Jedi a trademark?
I think it's great what you're doing. Do you have to license the name Jedi from LucasArts?
