Reign of the Fallen is a Star Wars fan film that rises above the rest

I can't say I've watched too many Star Wars fan films. The quality of each varies, but they are usually too amateurish to engage me for more than a few minutes. Reign of the Fallen is different. Here's the backstory behind the making of the film and here's the film:

In other Star Wars news, the one actor who has been in every incarnation of the movies, and then some, is Anthony Daniels, the man who played C-3PO. He almost quit on the first day, thinking the movie was a piece of garbage.
