The Lady in the Water was my Super Ex-Girlfriend

This week's fantastic movie crop doesn't look too fantastic. If you believe the critics then, Lady in the Water should be called Dead in the Water. Critics have been a little kinder to My Super Ex-Girlfriend, but not by much.

I'd rather see Cthulhu or The Call of Cthulhu. Too bad I missed the latter film when it was playing at Fantasia. When I finally paid attention to the festival schedule, it appeared that everything I wanted to see had already come and gone. Drats.
