"Recent" changes.
Hey Captain,
Have you changed anything in the setup lately? I've noticed that when I click on any posting in the list of "Recent comments" on the main page, the page displayed will have a very long forced width that will force me to scroll from side to side to read. It was not like this before. As far as I can tell, the other navigation URLs are not having this problem. (tried 'forums' on the left and "New forum topics" on the right and they look OK.

Nothing's changed
I think the problem you are experiencing is specific to one thread, http://www.theendoftheuniverse.ca/node/443. Try any of the other ones and everything wil display fine. Someone went a little crazy with the HTML editor and somehow managed to reformat the page.

I recall thinking Number One must 'ave one hell of a monitor/graphics card/screen size rez set, or alternavely, I also recall 'im stating he was composing messages with another editor and importing them here, so it may be a cross-editor hidden-control-codes related issue.
(or both - Ed)
Either way, I expect given Number One's infamous temporal-reply-anomaly, that we'll find out *gaze at watch* in 2 months or so.
(this is btw not a drill, Number One really is (in)famous for his long delays between replies)

Smilies are working
I'm not certain why you wouldn't see smileys in Firefox. On the Windows version, I am seeing them just fine.
If you like using them, then why not keep doing it? At least the Windows contingent will see them okay.

Strange Smillies
I wonder if it has anything to do with macs or firefox at all, cause I see the capt smillies but I don't see Denstat's. I also find myself unnable to post smillies.
See below:

The forum turns my smillies into words instead. Why would it do that? Or capt, are you telling me that you see smillies above and not words?

I see dead people, but no smilies
I only see your words, but no smilies. I wonder if it's the editor that might work differently for Macs vs. PCs. Odd. I will investigate.
