Watch movies with your friends even when you're not together

Is "community viewing" on the HD-DVD a gimmick or the future of movie watching? In a bid to differentiate itself from Blu-Ray players, HD DVD players can be hooked up to broadband internet connections so that you can broadcast movies to your friends with their HD players while you chat with each other about what you're watching a la MST3K.

If you're looking for movies to watch on your new HD players, I don't think you'll find much high-definition content on Mutant Reviewers, but if you're looking for entertaining reviews of dubious DVDs then it's the site for you.
