Great book, but a truly awful cover. I doubt if I would have picked it up to read based on that art, but I read it because it was Hugo nominated. Frankly, I thought it should have won, but it was beat out by Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book.

Ugh! I wonder if in some cases the writers thought they could also be the artist for those fugly painted covers. I like some of the photoshop horrors as well. At least these are small and/or vanity press books (at least I hope so!)
