“James Tiptree, Jr.”? The cats been out of the bag for decades and everyone knows that that was really Alice Sheldon. I guess it’s a Mark Twain type of thing where the non-de-plume takes on a literal life that overshadows the individual. But in this case I thought it would have been more appropriate to just go with the real author’s name.
