Get ready for season 10 of the X-Files. Too bad it’s only in comic book form, but at least Chris Carter’s onboard. http://t.co/MPJJUYGBZI

  1. Actually, there have been several X-Files series in comics over the years from various publishers, so it has always been an ‘on again, off again’ series. It’s funny how they are calling this one ‘season 10’ when in fact Mulder was already gone in season 9, and yet this will be classic Mulder/Scully material. I recently finished watching the entire series from the massive box set and funny enough, at the end of it all I had a sense of “I could go for another season” which was entirely different from my feelings when it first ended at which point I’d had my fill. In retrospect, I found the Dogget-Reyes teamup much better the second time around, and was willing to see more of that.

    1. As much as I liked Mulder and Scully, I thought the Dogget-Reyes team were pretty good and had no problem continuing with them if the X-Files would have continued. Unlike you, I didn’t yet have my fill when the series ended and was disappointed that they didn’t try to go another year without the original stars.

      1. Did I mention that Jillian Anderson will be here in May at the Ottawa Comic Con? Got my tix for all 3 days. 🙂
