We’re midway through season 6 in our household. Yes, Matt is the least fav of the new Doctors, but still enjoyable. Preferred all of the other companions as well. One bright spot has been River Song. But I won’t go into detail and risk spoiling anything. It was cool to see a few girls dressed up as Weeping Angels at the recent comic con. Nice to see so many new fans of the Doctor these days.
And that should have gone in the Dr. Who thread. … Argh!
Should have been “Every movie…”. Funny how I can edit my original content, but not comments. Oh well.
What’s up with M. Night Shyamalan? I loved (and still love) those early movies in his career, but if I plotted out the quality of his movies as a function of time, it would be a straight sloped line going down. Even movie is a bit worse than the last and we’re way past the 0 line and going negative. Was it a case of him having a few good ideas from his youth and he’s used them all up now? Just sitting on his cash and not putting in the effort for something new? I’m not even going to blame Will Smith as I still think that he’s not a bad actor given good roles/scripts. (Not sure about his son. All I know are the ‘cutesy’ movies made when he was a real child.)
I’m thinking that as the generation of writers gets newer they have seen less of the crap we have. 🙂
They certainly have seen a lot less crap than I have.
