  1. Great find BTW cap. I was mesmerized by this church when I saw your post and read most of the article and even perused the church’s website. Heinlein would have been amused at all the politics and breakups that occurred with this Church over the years.

  2. This is one of my favorite books, but realizing that it helped inspire Charles Manson is disturbing. That like Scientology it inspired a ‘religion’ is bad too.

    1. Don’t let it bother you. Manson was (is) a nutcase and just because he found inspiration in something does not mean that something should in any way be blamed. He idolized the Beatles, but that wasn’t their fault.
