I’ve always loved The Andromeda Strain. I was very young when I first saw it, but I found the story fascinating and the futuristic lab a marvel. I’m glad CFCF played it as often as they did because I was able to watch it again every few years even in the pre-VCR days. One of the movies I’d still like to get for my DVD collection.
I’m one of the people who loathe Star Trek 1.
I don’t loath it, but it’s not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination. I remember being excited when it was released simply because it was a chance to get to some favorite characters again. Remember at the time it was almost unheard of to bring TV characters to the big screen.
Now” Wrath of Khan”, THAT was a movie!
