  1. Well I’ve never been to Seattle at all, much less having had to visit either the old or revamped museum so I cannot say for sure that it is now a watered down version of it’s former self. Just going on the name change. BTW, I’m assuming you did see the travelling Star Wars exhibit when it was at the old port two years ago, right? It was amazing.

  2. I was curious if this was being hosted at the Science Fiction Hall of Fame when I saw that it was somewhere in Seattle so I did a little digging. The good news of fans being able to see Leia’s bikini is tempered by the fact that the SF HoF is now a watered down version of its former self. Still a lot of SF and Fantasy, but no longer solely dedicated to the genre.

    1. Not sure if it’s watered down because I never saw the original museum, but the displays I saw at the EMP Museum were pretty impressive. Capt. Kirk’s chair! A real Dalek! The fantasy stuff was equally cool, like original manuscript pages from the Lord of the Rings. These Star Wars costumes would doubtless make it even more worthwhile to visit, although the display is supposedly touring for the next several years so it may end up somewhere closer to where we live.
