I love original science fiction art and have walls filled with amazing canvases and sketches. What I think I like best about owning originals, as opposed to prints, is that they are truly one-of-a-kind items that no one else has. They are also handcrafted artifacts that are vessels of one person’s energy and talent and will likely outlive their creators and myself and become objects that get passed down into the future for someone else to appreciate.
Probably the best place to search for exciting science fiction originals is Etsy, the global marketplace for unique and creative goods. To give you an idea of some of the great stuff that’s available, I am presenting this small gallery of paintings for you to enjoy. As a disclosure, if you click through and buy any of these, The Website at the End of the Future may benefit from a small percentage of the sales.
