David Bowie’s ‘The Man Who Fell to Earth’ didn’t do much for me, but it was a big deal for Philip K. Dick.

Didn’t like the movie? Read the novel by Walter Tevis. The novel made such an impression on my I started keeping my eye out for other books of his and the only one I found for many years was Mockingbird which I also loved. Haven’t read anything else of his since the early eighties. I did enjoy the movie but have not seen it years. Very eerie and moody so not for everyone. Would love to see it again someday.

I didn’t even know it was based on a book. I’ll have to keep my eye open for it. It has been a long time since I saw the movie so I may have a different impression if I watched it again today.
